High-Level Meeting on Haiti.



On the sidelines of 80th Session of United Nations General Assembly, an in-person discussion to highlight Kenya's perspectives on the Multinational Security Support (MSS) Mission to Haiti including its experience and lessons learned in the past year and urge global support for the transition of MSS Mission to the Gang Suppression Force (GSF) and establishment of a UN Support Office in Haiti.

Purpose of Meeting:

  • Highlight Kenya's perspectives on the Multinational Security Support Mission (MSSM) in Haiti, including the country's experiences, lessons learned, and insights for enhancing future security support for Haiti.
  • Urge adoption of the resolution to transition the MSS Mission to the Gang Suppression Force (GSF) and establish a UN Support Office in Haiti.
